gltd05 - Front gltd05 - Back

gltd05

Released: 4/1/2026

gltd05 is a reissue, with audio restoration and remaster, of the 1999 experimental album Pornojazz.

“Pornojazz” by autism, is an album recorded between April 1998 and January 1999 in Minsk and released on the DIY label Delta9. Recorded with old analog synthesizers from the Soviet era, such as the Altair 231, the album was praised as “Belarusian exotica”.

Initially conceptualized as a dark parody of acid jazz, the album includes elements of drum&bass and trip hop, as well as generative piano compositions. It reflects the influences of experimental artists such as Aphex Twin, Future Sound of London, Coil, and Depeche Mode, on the emerging Minsk underground electronic scene.

CDs have long exited circulation, and interest was reignited following an upload from the mber youtube channel in early 2025. After dialogue with Vadim, now living in the USA, and an agreement to remaster and re-release the album, original WAV files were found on a 26 year old CDr, alongside original artworks on a Corel Draw file unopened since 1998.

glinted records is pleased to re-release this eccentric and playfully avant-garde album, that presciently connects with the absurdity of the world around us.

All original trax written, mixed, and produced by Vadim Militisin.
Altair 231 samples by Dmitri M/U.
Original Artwork by ED & Autism.
Original Distribution by BMM Studio.
Reissued by glinted records in 2026.
Digital audio restoration and remastering was made by Michael James Thomas at Studio Moonchord.
Artwork reimagined by James Crossley.
